Newest Hair Care Products That Will Blow Your Mind!

In the past I've discussed the hair products I've personally used, to try and combat my frizzy and dry hair (thanks hair dye). Back in October I shared with you guys a set of shampoo and conditioner, that was superseding my hopes for shower time hair care. I was beyond thrilled that it not only [seemingly] gave life back to my hair, but it wasn't loosing it's affect over time. Well, things change and hair grows up. After a while, things got to be very...weak.

After a few months of using the cleaning duo, I started to notice that my hair simply wasn't taking kindly to it's [or lack there of] cleaning abilities. It was becoming excessively dry, brittle, frizzy, and overall unmanageable. I was going insane.

You see, my entire life has consisted of mediocre hair products, that work at first only to let me down in a few weeks time. There's never been any pair that's kept my hair looking healthier than ever. That is, until today.

After the downfall of my last shampoo and conditioner, I decided to just start from scratch and try to find a new duo that would hold me over until the next batch. That's when I came across an old favorite I used years ago (during my pregnancy).

The brand is called "Mane 'n Tail" and it's [I suppose] traditionally marketed for horse hair. It's been notoriously known as a product that helps hair grow longer, stronger, and healthier.

During my pregnancy it was my go-to product. Why I drifted from it, really is due to budgeting. I didn't feel my hair care was worth $6 each bottle (for 27.05 fl oz), so I left it behind and didn't look back. Now it seems things have come full circle and I decided to re-test my old friend, with a twist.

This time around, I found that they not only had the original formula, but also a new "Herbal Gro" formula with "Olive Oil complex". I was immediately intrigued, as olive oil is simultaneously attributed to hair growth and replenishing. For the same price as the original, I went ahead and decided to test out this particular bundle.

It's been almost 3 months, since first starting with these two. Normally the average time span of a shampoo or conditioner lasting, is roughly 2 or 3 months, however, I normally see them "go bad" on me around a month and a half. With these two, it hasn't happened.

After the first few uses, I noticed a dramatic change in my hair (again though, I'm a bit skeptical). The shine and strength has improved along with the manageability. The growth of my hair has also taken me by surprise, as it seems to truly have sped the growth progression up.

Within the last few weeks, my hair has stopped breaking off as much, I no longer suffer from dry/itchy scalp, the look of my hair is glowing, and split ends aren't as apparent. That in itself makes me feel extremely happy. But, there is a catch.

I'm thoroughly pleased with my results thus far, but I'm not completely sold. Seeing as how we're coming up to the point where these hair cleaning products traditionally fail on me, I'm not holding my breath that these will stand the test of time.

Nothing has deterred me from re-purchasing them, but I am watching for any signs of my hair growing tired of these two. I will say however, that I really like the fact the portions are pretty well suited for a month's worth of washes (if you wash your hair everyday), plus some.

So as you can see, this products is definitely a miracle (seriously, I'm just happy with how much it's fulfilled my hair fantasies), but because my hair is finicky and can't settle down, I'm going to hold out to see if it will let me down. For now, it's my current obsession and I'm still loving the feeling of my hair when it dries. If there's any changes, I will let you know you beautiful Jedi's!

Until then, may the force be with you all.
